About
I have obtained my BSc degree in Chemistry from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Afterwards, I worked as Professor Assistant (‘Analytical Chemistry’, ‘Statistics’) at UNAM as well as in The Procter & Gamble Company. Then, I joined the PhD program of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at URV (Spain) under the direction of Prof. Dr. Xavier Rius and Dr. Jordi Riu. I'm currently a researcher and lecturer (‘General Chemistry’, ‘Computer Analysis of Chemical Problems’) at URV as well as research collaborator at Institut d’Investigació Sanitària Pere Virgili (IISPV, Pere Virgili Institute for Sanitary Research) and my research focuses on development of biosensors based on carbon nanotubes.
