Anthony works on sociological approaches to translation and intercultural relations. He is director of the Intercultural Studies Group at Rovira i Virgili University in Tarragona, Spain, and President of the European Society for Translation Studies. He is also Visiting Researcher at the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
